Whole Plasmid Sequencing
Determine an entire plasmid sequence including its backbone, inserts and any structural
variations through long-read technology, without the need for primers.
ACGT offers complete plasmid and large DNA fragment sequencing of PCR amplicons or dsDNA viral genomes using long-read technology from Oxford Nanopore (ONT). This approach generates full-length target sequences using long-read de novo assembly, providing clear structural insight and high confidence results.

Bioinformatics Analysis
ACGT uses the latest ONT analysis pipelines to generate reliable consensus sequences. Once analysis is complete, you will be notified by email and can access your results by logging into your account.
Deliverables Include:
- FASTA consensus sequence files
- Interactive HTML sequencing report with plasmid map showing sequence features
Turnaround Time
WPS runs are now performed daily (M-F).
Initial results will be available within 2 business days following the run date. Reactions that require additional troubleshooting may result in longer turnaround times.

WPS Free Trial
Test our data quality, turnaround time, and customer service with an offer of 2 FREE Whole Plasmid Sequencing reactions.*
* For first-time customers only. This offer is only valid for Standard WPS protocols with target sizes 25 kb or under; alternate workflows are excluded.
WPS Repeat Policy
If a sample does not meet quality expectations, please contact our customer care team at [email protected]. Each request is reviewed individually to determine whether a repeat reaction is feasible based on sample quality and quantity.
Additional quality assessments or corrective actions may include:
- Verification of DNA concentration and purity
- Magnetic bead–based sample cleanup (additional fees may apply)
- Sample normalization prior to repeat processing
ACGT is committed to working with you to achieve successful sequencing outcomes.
