SPPE Low Cost Option (LCO)

For premixed samples. Send us the template and primer mixed in the same tube or well according to our sample submission guidelines.

SPPE Standard

For samples of known concentrations. Provide us with the template and primer concentrations and we will optimize the sequencing reactions accordingly. The concentrations provided must be consistent across the plate.

SPPE Premium

For samples of unknown concentrations. A random selection of templates and primers will be assessed via agarose gel and nanodrop to determine concentrations and use them to estimate the concentration of all templates and primers across the plate.

Direct Colony Sequencing

Sanger sequencing of plasmid DNA extracted and amplified from bacterial colonies or culture in buffer.

* Please note that samples submitted for High Throughput sequencing must be in 96-well plates or PCR strip tubes. Universal primers may be requested for any service option, and will be added by our technicians free of charge.

Turnaround Times

High Throughput SPPE:
Initial data delivered 1-2 business days from sample receipt

High Throughput DCS:
Initial data delivered 2-3 business days from sample receipt

(allow additional time for multiple plates)

Plate Orientation

All types of 96-well plates are acceptable. Upon receipt, your samples will be transferred to a standardized ACGT plate for our technologists to perform the reactions and load onto our instruments.
The High Throughput order form is designed specifically for 96-well plates or strip tubes in columns of 8 reactions. Reaction numbers will correspond to well positions in the following orientation (see right).

Does your order contain less than 48 reactions?

No worries – submit your order under the SPPE or DCS order form. All aspects, including sample preparation, alternate protocol selection and data quality remain the same.
