Our signature service. ACGT has been sequencing DNA by Sanger since 1993.

Sanger sequencing is our most cost-effective, reliable, and quick solution for sequencing targeted regions of the genome. It is also the preferred method for validating Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) studies.

Services

ACGT offers a number of Sanger service options tailored to meet your needs, ranging from single-tube samples to multiple plate processing and data assembly.

Single Pass Primer Extension

Three service options (Low Cost, Standard and Premium) for plasmid DNA, PCR products (purified and unpurified) and large insert templates (i.e., lambda, BACs, PACs, YACs, P1 clones, Cosmids, Fosmids, etc.).

Direct Colony Sequencing

For bacterial colonies or culture re-suspended in a small volume of buffer. Our DCS service works with bacterial episomes of any size. Templates can be plasmids, cosmids, BACs, PACs or phage DNA.

High Throughput Sequencing (96-Well Plate)

Any large volume order consisting of 48 reactions or more, submitted in a 96-well plate or PCR strip tubes (SPPE or DCS). Over 25% savings from our single reaction rates.

Full Sequence Analysis

Our Sanger service for plasmids and PCR products over 1.5 kb in length. Coverage provided may be single-stranded or double-stranded.

gDNA Target Sequencing

Sanger sequencing of genomic DNA targets, designed to detect sequence variants in short genomic DNA regions (from 300 bp to 1.5 kb).

Load & Go

Perform your own sequencing reactions and send us your samples for loading on our ABI 3730 instruments. Can be submitted either cleaned or uncleaned.

How to Order

In most cases, sequencing data and analysis results are delivered within 2 weeks of sample receipt.
