ACGT Card: Terms and Conditions
The ACGT Card is issued by ACGT, Inc., an Illinois corporation. You can find your prepay balance on the dashboard of your online account. All purchases with the ACGT Card are subject to these terms and conditions.
General Terms
The ACGT Card is a pre-paid option and a means of payment for all orders placed through your online account, including all Sanger Sequencing and Next Generation Sequencing online orders. The ACGT Card cannot be used as payment towards a Custom Project or regulatory (cGMP/GMP) or clinical grade services.
Purchases are deducted from your ACGT Card balance. If a purchase exceeds your balance, an alternative payment method will need to be used at checkout. The ACGT Card cannot be combined with other forms of payment to transact a single order.
ACGT Card purchases may only be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible services provided by ACGT. Eligible services are subject to change in ACGT’s sole discretion.
You must verify that the policies of your company or institution permit the purchase and use of this Card, as this Card cannot be redeemed for cash.
Activation
Your ACGT Card must be activated prior to use. ACGT personnel will activate your Card and allocate funds to your account within 1 to 2 business days of an initial purchase of the ACGT Card. You may begin using your Card to make payment for services upon receipt of funds, you do not need to wait to receive your ACGT Card in the mail. Should you lose or misplace your ACGT Card, you do not need to replace your Card so long as the funds appear in your account balance. You may access your account balance at any time despite the loss of your Card.
No Expiration
Your ACGT Card balance does not expire and may be applied to eligible purchases at any time.
No Purchase Order (PO) Payment
ACGT accepts only credit card payments to fund the ACGT Card; purchase order (PO) payments are not accepted.
Limitations
Your ACGT Card balance cannot be resold, redeemed for cash, redeemed for more than face value, or used in a manner prohibited by law.
No portion of your ACGT Card balance may be transferred to another user account. However, account holders have the option of adding other users to their ACGT Card account. In other words, a single ACGT Card account can be used between multiple user accounts.
Limitation of Liability
ACGT makes no warranties, express or implied, with respect to the ACGT Card or your Card balance, including without limitation, any express or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In the event that your ACGT Card is non-functional, your sole remedy will be a replacement of the ACGT Card.
Miscellaneous
ACGT reserves the right to require additional verification of your identity or account ownership prior to purchase and use. Upon receipt of your ACGT Card balance for purchase, you agree that the laws of the State of Illinois – without regard to principles of conflict of laws – will govern these terms and conditions and any dispute that may arise between you and ACGT.
ACGT reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions without notice, from time to time at ACGT’s sole discretion. If any of these Terms and Conditions are deemed invalid, void, or unenforceable for any reason, that unenforceable term will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
